Katy Perry vs Kate Nash

We want to know your favorite!

Katy Perry:
The first CD Perry released was a Christian gospel record back in 2001. And then she did a 180 – at least lyrically – releasing songs like “Ur So Gay” (which Madonna said was one of her favorite songs in a 2007 radio interview) and “I Kissed A Girl.”

No chance she is just “One of the Boys,” this young American singer, and daughter of a pastor, quickly earned her GED her freshman year of high school so she could pursue her now wildly successful music career.

She mixes retro and flirty and has a knack for recording contagious fun songs like “Hot N Cold” and “Waking Up in Vegas” that are available on Flycell.com

The challenger from across the pond…

Kate Nash:

This British songstress has been bringing us upbeat, friendly, relationship-bashing hits for a few years now. First posting her music to MySpace, she was discovered and signed to a record label and put out her first single in February 2007 on vinyl.

After signing on with Fiction Records she released her second single “Foundations” and her first album soon after. Despite mixed reviews it became number 1 in the UK Charts.

Her hit “Foundations” as well as other great songs like “Mouthwash,” “Navy Taxi,” and “Mariella” are available as ringtones on Flycell.com.
