MNF Week 5 Matchup: Minnesota Vikings vs. New York Jets

No, it’s not a circus. Just MNF between the Vikes (1-2) and Jets (3-1).

In case you missed the HUGE news, Randy Moss is now a Viking. New England traded him away last week and Minnesota fans are excited to have Moss back. All of the drama is sure to make for some charged playing as Favre is dealing with the Jenn Sterger “distraction.” Will Favre quit throwing interceptions and trade in for some touchdown passes?

The Jets are expecting some players back on the field that have been absent in recent games due to suspensions (Holmes) and injury (Revis). We already know Sanchez is primed to throw some great passes, 8 touchdowns so far this season and zero (that’s right Brett, ZERO) interceptions.

This is going to be an exciting game regardless of the outcome.

The week 4 match up between the Patriots and Dolphins seems like an easy call, but New England is losing a bit of magic in recent years with a slowly failing running and defense. Will Miami be able to step up and overcome the odds with their better running game and defense?

Are Mobile Apps the Next ‘Killer App’?

The buzz coming from the floor of CTIA Wireless 2009 was all about mobile applications. No doubt, we are experiencing a mobile applications renaissance today, but to be fair, they are nothing new. Companies like Handango, Handmark and, yes, even Flycell, have been offering mobile applications for years. So why the sudden attention, and are mobile applications really the next “killer app”?
